The 2010 HCPS Annual Photo Exhibit will end this Sunday, July 31. For those participate in the exhibition please come in this Sunday afternoon after 3pm, before 4pm to retrieve your framed photos.

華人攝影学會2011年展 –由于今年文敎中心從8月到11月在预定展览厅上的限制,今年年展
決定于7月23- 31日提前舉行.
展出将同往年方式,請各位會員备好4幅加框照片(7月21 22日下午 6-7 递交于僑敎中心展览大廳).
框架为黑边尺寸大小以 16.5 x 20.5 英寸为标准(在Ikea/ Hobby Lobby有出售), *框架最好不超出18 x 22 英寸. 11x28英寸長景照片毎人以2幅为限(16x32英寸的框架).
各位會員請将照片作者名字和标题(中英文), 务必在7月20日以前递交董事長蔡保羅(paulthai@swbell.net).

Due to the constraint of scheduling the exhibit hall at Culture Center, the 2011 HCPS Annual Photo Exhibit will be held from July 23th through 31th. Please be prepared and have four (4) framed pictures submitted on July 21 or 22 between 6-7 PM at Exhibit Hall of Culture Center.
The picture frame is the same standard that we have used in previous exhibitions: black color, size 16.5”x 20.5”(sold at Ikea or Hobby Lobby). *If you prefer to have non-standard frames it should not exceed size 18”x 22”(plain black and <= 1” width frame) for 12”x 18”pictures. For panoramic size print, 11x28”, only two per member are allowed. Also, please make sure to submit the titles and the author’s name of the photos (in bothe Chinese and English)to Dr. Paul Thai(paulthai@swbell.net) by 7/20.
We encourage all members to participate in the preparation of the Annual Exhibition on July 21 &22 from 5:30-8 PM at the Culture Center’s Exhibit Hall. Any questions? Contact Thomas Quan or Dr. Xu.
Opening Reception is at 2:30 pm, on Saturday July 23th,2011.
A "go green" electronic invitation file is attached for you to e-mail or to print out by yourself if you prefer.
*Mat: In Bright White (or off white).
*Matting instructions: Mat to edge of image. Average of 2.0" to 4.0" mat length on either side of image.
EXAMPLE: 11x14 images = 16x 20 mat and frames

· 影訊-張滌生與他的兩位攝影家友人徐柏青和趙其衛即將專誠自上海飛抵休士頓,於五月ニ十八日至六月五日和休士頓攝影學會的几位會員聯合舉行聯展. 美南大専校聯會,婦女工商,寫作協會及攝影學會將於五月ニ十八日早上十時至十二時三十分在 Rio Ranch Restaurant (HILTON, between Westheimer and Briarpark) 舉行歡迎餐會,並於下午ー時在頓僑教中心二零三室舉行攝影藝術座談會,與遠道來的攝影家心靈溝通。
歡迎餐會必須於五月二十曰前報名,餐費毎人二十元, 聯絡人爲:

Photo Exhibit – Mr. Zhang Di-Sheng and his two friends, Mr. Xu and Mr. Zhao, also from Shanghai,China will hold a photo exhibition at Culture Center from May 28th through June 5th. At the invitation of the organizer, few members from HCPS will also participate in the show. There will be a welcome lunch party on 5/28, Saturday 10am - 12:30pm at Rio Ranch Restaurant (HILTON, between Westheimer and Briarpark) following by a session of dialogue and discussion of photography with the photographers from Shanghai, 1:00 pm at Culture Center room-203. The opening ceremony is on 3:30pm May 28, at Culture Center Exhibit Hall. The welcome lunch party is $20/person. If you would like to join the party please contact Gene Wong at 713- 461-6625 by May 20.

HCPS Photo Field Trip, TX Bluebonnet- Saturday April 9, 7:00 AM- Sunset at area around Chapple Hill/ Brenham (FM-1155 & FM-50, See attached map).
